if you were able to edit, you could make the equivalent of a Gundam with proper weapons and the Big Metal Unit from ToB.
You might be able to make that sword/gun-thing from Final Fantasy.
The biggest problem is that most Anime abilities are innate, and do not rely on items, so it would be tricky to make your characters have them. I would just stick to good other stuff. I have already made the One Ring, a Tome of Locksmithing (so that non-mages and non-thieves have some option of door-opening other than bashing them, and thieves can increase their Open Locks skill), the Dart of Cyric +5 (no +4 or better darts in the whole game, but everything else is), and am currently working on the Hammer of Kharas from Dragonlance, as well as the Dragonlances themselves.
