My sig is the Fountain of Neptune (is that the English name ? The Romain God of the Sea) of the Stanislas Square in Nancy, the town where I was born and spent my childhood. From time to time, I get homesick, so that is why I chose it.
Oh, by the way, I don't know if you read my post in the appropriate thread, but just came home from a concert of Mongolian instrumental and throat singing here in Grenoble - man, this music is amazing ! I didn't know that a human voice could produce such sounds ! It goes from the foghorn to the singing of the hummingbird ! And the playing with the harmonics ! Extraordinaire ! And such power of evocation ! I will stop here, I am just speechless. Thank you, thank you for sharing this wonder.
I read your thread Monday morning, and then I had the immense luck to discover the same day that a group of four Mongolian throat singers would came here for an unique concert the next Thursday. Such a coincidence ...
