dont you get your proficiences back wont your char reaches a certain lvl?
i took sarevok as a fighter lvl 18 and dualed into a theif. i lost all proficiences as fighter but once i lvled him up to lvl 18 as theif i got my fighter prof back. i wouldnt think it be any different with cleric.
