This is my first time in the general discussion. So I though I would say hello and participate. Normally I frequent the BGII board.

A sweet, petite, 85 pound German Shepard puppy. Well, at least she thinks she's petite.

WHY DO YOU PLAY RPGS?
Actually BGI and BGII are the only ones I have played. Normally I prefer games like Chess, Riven, or strategy games of historical significance. At this point I cannot articulate why I was drawn to the BG series, however, I am thoroughly enjoying it.

WHAT CAR/TRUCK DO YOU DRIVE?
I drive a 1986 Ford Ranger. I have a difficult time sinking equity into a rapidly depreciating asset.

DO YOU CLICK ON ZIROC'S SPONSOR'S ADS?
I haven't so far. However, I am relatively new to the board and, given time, I may.

WHAT KIND OF WORK DO YOU DO (OCCUPATION)?
I am a Banker.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF MUSIC (COUNTRY, ROCK, POP, BLUES, CLASSICAL, ETC.)?
A favorite? How about a few? I like hymns, classical, rock (especially oldies, some pop, and big band (which falls into the jazz category).
HOW MANY BROTHERS AND SISTERS?

WHICH IS BETTER, MOUNTAINS OR BEACHES?
Mountains! Especially those with placid crystal blue lakes teaming with Trout (however, without a flyrod I would only find this torturous), a nice hiking trail, or a single track mountain biking trail.

IF YOU WENT ON "SURVIVOR," WHAT LUXURY ITEM WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
The prize money. Why not cut right to the chase?

Neither. Cheetos(sp?).

WHAT WAS YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE (DREAMING KIND)?
Nothing comes to mind. No pun intended.

WHAT DO YOUR FAMILY/FRIENDS THINK OF YOU SPENDING TIME ON THIS BOARD?
It's too soon to tell.

Riven, Riven, and BGII.

DEATH PENALTY OR NOT?
Death penalty. I acknowledge that there are those extreme cases and exceptions that need to be given special consideration, however, I believe that those who have expressly choosen to take another life have made it clear that they are an extreme danger to the rest of society. In my experience rehabilitation does not work (i.e. Donald Blaum). Furthermore, "life in prison" does not always mean life in prison and all too frequently the menace to society has direct access to a selection of potential victums.
