You may have some problems with such a "Mage-heavy" party early in the game, but near the end, when your spellcasters are really feeling their oats, you'll be glad you've Nalia, with Aerie and Jan for backup. Imagine you're fighting a dragon; Having an extra Fighter isn't going to do jack for you, but another Mage will make that monster hit the ground a lot faster. As long as you've got 1 really good Tank, and 1 or 2 substitute Tanks, that's all the brawling power you'll need. Also, I'd have to say that in the long run, Jan's Mage skills make him a much more versatile Thief than Yoshimo.
