I may have a solution, if you are interested, about the frames. I also like the way frames look but have found they are a pain in the ass. You could use tables, take a look at a site I haVE BEEN WORKING ON
WWW.FANCYCLEANERS.COM (oops damn cap lock) Anyway, you have the feel of frames, but the ease of not having to conform to them. If you have questions send me an E-mail. I use frontpage as well and might be able to help.
The buttons you use, are they created by you, and do you have a good Gif animator/graphics program. With these you could fix the picture backround to be transparent instead of black. If there is anything I can do for you, e-mail me I am glad to offer my services.
