NotAtAllIdiotRogue (when, oh when will you change that idiot pseudo of yours ? ),

from my own experience as a woman, EVERY man you date (and even male friends sometimes) happens from time to time to say something intended as a compliment ... but which is, well ...

I remember my dear dear hubbie telling me long ago that he was happy I was not the most beautiful woman in the world, otherwise he would have felt much less comfortable with me ... See what I mean ?

Believe me, what you say is not THAT important. Remember to say something nice from time to time. Don't push the compliment too far. And make her laugh. I may be a strange woman myself, but I never had been attracted to 'the most beautiful man in the world', but always to men who had something special, were witty and had a twinkle in their eyes.
