[Paulinator]

Once again, stuck in the game. I am in the Shadow ruins and I think I am near the end of it. I have found all 4 Runes to open the gate where the Knight (forget his name) was original talking with you as he was being bound by Shadow Demons. OK, I go through this door I finally unlocked and you get a choice of 3 gates to go through now. I have tried all 3 and they lead to the same damn puzzle. The puzzle in question is where there are flame spouts shooting across the hallway and there are huge pits (2 that I could see) to get across. If you fall in the pit you have to navigate through the etheral void and eventually get back to the start of this puzzle. There also looks like there are platforms at the edge of pits that may raise.
Has anyone done this puzzle?? I do not have levitate. I have looked everywhere for it. Is there a loose brick somewhere that can raise the platforms I mentioned. I also know that if I leave this dungeon, I won't be able to get back in. The portal dissapears. I have had to start a new game because of this. Please help me. I would hate to start again.
