Hey all,

I have had Final Fantasy Tactics for some time, yet have only played through the first two battles before switching to a different game. I was wondering if this game gets better as time goes on, or if it continues to be a bit of a bore (usually I am not an impatient gamer, but for some reason this game struggles to keep my interest).

Some of the forums for the game that I have looked at have been manned by either FF Fan Boys or FF Haters--which basically means that their opinions, while not useless, are very biased and not very helpful.

I have been a fan of SRPGs since the Shining Force games and I have always liked FF, so I am hoping that the mix between the two will turn out to be good.

Anyway, does this game turn out to be good, or should I stay with the Shining Force and Vandal Hearts games? BTW, I have not yet bought any SRPGS for the PS2 yet--but if you have any reccommendations, please let me know!
