Gee, that'll be fun trying to find all the hacks from amid the 2000+ files of clothes, hair, sunglasses, etc in my download folder. Particularly when some of them are called 35h2j435hu4jdhrfjh4j5yth34k4h4kfdhdsj or something like that.

Is there an easy way to do this? I know modthesims2 has a hack remover, is that the best one available?
I don't really think you will run into much problems if you keep your old hacks there, but I guess the best solution would be to cpompletely delete the folder and reinstall mods/clothing.

Yeah, I hate those stupid filenames too. What were they thinking!?!
You may run into problem. For example I have the Nude Hack and Teen Woohoo Hack. After I install Sims 2 : University. My sim was unable to go to class, take exam, do his term papers etc. Upon deleting this 2 hack everything went back to normal.

What I did was I redownload the hack and check and compare the filename of the hack. Quite easy since I only have 2 hacks.
