It's my opinion that once almost all the pc video game companies close, we'll have a shortage of games for a while.
But then things will pick up, when new companies start up, this time dedicated to bringing quality product, seeing how the other companies that released crap ended up bankrupt.
Or maybe I'm dreaming...
We are getting abused by greedy execs that think they can release half finished crappy clone games over and over. Maybe once they realise we won't tolerate this any longer they'll change their business practices.
The only bugs that should be acceptable in a PC game are hardware/software problems, not actual coding in the game.
Strange how consoles games always work without bugs on the first try, but pc games need a couple of patches each before they can come close to playable, if not complete.
I never saw a console game that had half it's ingame content uncompleted either.
