- Planescape Torment (masterpiece of literary/gaming art!) Highly reccomended indeed.
- Arcanum is another which should be suggested, since its engine is also similar in style to the Baldur's Gate stuff.
- The fallouts, as already suggested (I'm still playing the original one at the moment in fact...)
- You could always try Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor, but I don't reccomend it, even if a mate of mine has completed it. If you can stomach a buggy, unintuitive interface, empty repetitive music and hollow encounters, then go for it!
- Any of the Ultima's 4-8 use an isometric/top down view as well, and would definitely be worth your time, if you are able to play old games and don't mind spending some time configuring them to run. (which I don't, but many do.) These games are highly influential upon the infinity engine stuff and have given me much joy for their depth.
Ultima IV is free for download and has numerous additional patches/enhancements made for it. [img]smile.gif[/img]
