This great board game was my second stepping stone to actually experiencing my first ever session of PnP basic D&D! [img]smile.gif[/img] (The first was probably HeroQuest...)
Talisman is a tremendous multiplayer gaming experience that has brought many long sessions and similarly fondful memories. I used to play it with mates back in High School and then had a bit of a resurgence with friends at uni, including some girls who had never roleplayed in their life.
Sadly, they didn't quite 'get it', but it was jolly fun explaining it all!
I don't think I've ever played it with all of the expansions, however! Makes me keen to try it again.
The Ghoul and the Philosopher were probably my two favourite characters even if I very rarely won.
