OK, I ditched Bastila and picked up HK long enough to complete the Sand People quest, then picked up Bastila again. The romance is going well. Found the 3rd star map on Kaashyyk, and found Jolee as well. Problem is, I'm getting really attached to HK - he's hilarious. It's a shame that you can't have more than two NPCs - I like Mission and Canderous as well.
