Did you actually read the reviews, or did you just go by the numbers. The ratings are probaly fair for the type of game it is.

Seems more like a family game or something that you would play with your kids. Personally after reading the review I would not buy this game even if they gave it a 10. Now if I had young kids like ages 6 to 13 I might consider it and even play it with them but I don't so The Sims would be better value for my money.
