Thanks Link. In the meanwhile, this thread has inspired me to give Medieval another shot. I'm playing as the English this time, which should be more challenging then the Egyptians. I got lucky though, the neighbours of France immediately declared war on the country, so it crushed between the Germans and the Spanish. I waited a few turns, then stabbed them in the back and snatched most of the French coastal regions. All your base are belong to moi
