Nope, duping is creating a copy of an original item so that you'll have 2 of the same item. If my memory serve me right you can copy the item file into your character and then delete the item in the other character later. Cheating is blatantly taking full advantage of an existing loophole to enrich oneself without much effort. Notice the difference in the wording?
