the best romance really depends on what your character concept is. if you're a goody-goody-two-shoes paladin, Aerie is your best choice. if you serve order and balance, or you like nature a lot, pick Jaheira. if you're one mean mofo, pick Viconia. (you'll greatly appreciate her presence in the party if you're like that)

The Aerie romance is kinda weak, and you have to baby her a lot.
The Jaheira romance takes FOREVER, and requires a lot of special events to occur before it progresses.
The Viconia romance is fun, but usually doesn't end well.
