At least give REASONS in an arguement. I really don't mind getting flamed (I understand my abrasive nature tends to bring that out in people. I know, really bad habit on my part. I try to change, though), but give me firm "reasons", okay? I really didn't mean to tee anyone off.

And as for me not "understanding the story", far from it. I found the story to be overly, overly clichéd, for one, as well as a slight rip off of the previous FF game, which I loved. (Strong comparions can be drawn towards Shinra and the Empire, and Terra and Cloud, just for two quick examples.) The story is on about a 3rd grade reading level. All the characters sound alike. Blah blah, I've already explained this a million times on these boards alone, so I don't think I should carry on.

I highly, highly recommend you play something with a REAL interesting story (and a sense of humor, to boot), Disgaea. Or maybe Valkyrie Profile. Perhaps even the predecessor to FF7, FF6. Or another game bearing the FF moniker, FF-Tactics (which sadly sufferes from translation errors, but has an interesting story and TERRIFIC gameplay). These are just console games, as well. You want a super-mega deep story, I HIGHLY suggest you give Planescape: Torment a run. Totally cerebral. Loved the game to death.
