Myth II was grand, might I say. I have never come across a game that was as precise as Myth, but several games share the aspect. You mentioned B&W; the two games share something in common: the satisfaction from destruction.
In Myth, you can blow a soldier up a wall, or shoot a scimitar across the screen; and in B&W, you can fling a worshippers across the land, or rocks into buildings.
