Okay, Zelda is NOT AN RPG. For the zillionth time!!! (although I suppose none of you know me. o.O)

For one, there isn't even experience. Everything that makes you more powerful is always in the same locations.
It's an action-adventure, plain and simple.

It wasn't dubbed an RPG until the N64 game, and for a big reason: The system was dying from lack of RPGs. They thought that by marketing the next Zelda game as one, it'd help sell an RPG deprived system. I kid you not.

The one I've spent the most time on has got to be, hands down, Final Fantasy Tactics. Strategy-RPGs are my thing, man. I also love Tactics Ogre and Shining Force (although I've only had the chance to play any SF games for brief amounts of time...) FF6 is the best and only real gem of a mainstream FF title. I also like anything by tri-Ace, such as Star Ocean 2 and Valkyrie Profile (oh, PLEASE, let me not be the only one in here that knows who they are.)
