But a big hint, make sure that you choose which class you want to finish the game as before you hit level 7. At level 7 and 12, you get bonuses and some extra tattoos. However, do not take the level 7 tattoo. It closes off the level 12 tattoo (can't get it, and no where does it tell you this until it is too late, so I make sure to let anyone within earshot about this); the level 12 tattoo is much better than the level 7 tattoo. The bonuses and tattoos depend on which class you hit level 7 in, and are very good. Also, you only get the bonuses in the class you hit level 7 in, so if you hit level 7 in a class, then switch to another, you don't get bonuses in the new class when you hit level 7. Stinks, but that is the way the game is (rewards you for specializing). You can, however, get to level 6 as a fighter for the hp, then switch to mage.
Talk to the magic using NPCs (once you are a mage), and explore all of the dialog options. You'll be glad you did.
