Some things that always bothered me in Thief (2):
-Garret appears to wear metal boots. Every step echoes to the roof. If I were a thief, I would wrap my shoes with cloth or whatever thieves do.
-Guards always know that that's me making noise. They never think that that could be another guard.
-Garret has no shadow.
-Climbing key is the same as jumping key. So if it turns out that I cannot climb on that particular box, I will alert the guards with my metal boots.
-I cannot kill unconscious foes. Sometimes I can with the sword, but not always.
-An arrow kills a guard if he is unaware even in his leg (not every one, though). But if he is running for me, and I shot him in the face, he survives!?
-A kick with blackjack in the leg makes a person unconscious!?
-Garret runs very slow with a sword in his hand, but while it is sheated, it doesn't bother him!?
-Stepping through windows is very hard thing to do, nearly impossible.
-Garret cannot get off ladders or rope without jumping upwards.
-Footprints in snow? Forget it.
-Wet marks on the floor after swimming? Duke3D had those.
-I cannot put out a torch without water, but I can light some of them without fire.
