Think Eidos had something to do with Thief. Got it with my old graphics card. Liked the first few missions, but I didn't enjoy the dungeon crawling later on. Heard that II was better, but didn't play it. I'd say if you can find Thief under 30$ Canadian, that's like 5 cents American
, it's worth it. I just found that dungeon crawling detracted from the theme for me.
