FFX was a pretty solid game, but PLEASE don't consider getting a PS2 for Tekken 4. I just rented that game and it's pretty horrible when compared to Tekken 3, or Tekken 4 in the arcade. And anyway, Soul Calibur 2 is out for the Arcade, so who needs Tekken?
As for FFX, it's a good game, but I think 7 & 3(SNES) were better. But that's just my opinion, and Bokken, i disagree with you about the Leveling etc. "kicking ass". They should have stuck with the basics, and the whole Giant chart thing gets annoying after a while. I think that if you liked some of the other games you should be at least *satisfied* with FFX. The story was kind of, well, boring (this may be an age thing) but i dunno. The game is also EXTREMELY EASY, or at least I thought it was, considering I died only once. But if you get a PS2, and want a good RPG, get Kingdom hearts, the battle engine rocks on that game. AND IT HAS ALL OF YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS FROM PREVIOUS FF GAMES!!
