Im bored so ill answer here.

The ring is to the south of the friendly arm inn, the coordinates are in pretty much every major walkthrough out there. Its hard to spot though, youll really wish BG1 had a highlight feature like BG2:ToB does. Theres also an idential ring in the North Central sector of Baldurs Gate, but I cant remember where. the FAI ring was supposedly removed in one of the patches for BG1, alhtouh i recall getting it while fully patched up.

The best character would be imoen IMHO, but thats totally subjective and varies fromperson to person.

The gem cheat, IIRC, works as follow.

place a potion in your inventory, right click, and drink it.

switch a gem with the potion

exit the inventory.

You will "drink" the gem and loose one & 1 - 1 in mod 65536 maths is 65536. be next to a store when you do this, cos you cant move with that many gems.
