I've been playing it for about a week (I downloaded and installed the latest patch before I even started playing) and I haven't had any problems with any "bugs" yet.
I've come to believe that some really technical "bugs" are really system related. I am not playing on the most high tech system possible, mind you, but I do think that the shape of your machine makes a difference.
Here's a link to a site that has A LOT of info...read the "Bugs and ONE HUGE WARNING"...that will help you out as far as knowing what NOT to do before you start playing.
