I think that BGII has the best replay value of any game ive played. the choices of alignment, race, and class, as well as gender lend many combinations to explore. not only can you accent your class by choosing a complimentary race (elven archer) but you can create challenging characters to play with. Each time through the game you can pretend that you are a totally different entity, and act accordingly because the game reults will differ with the type of game you play. you cant find that in games like final fantasy(which is, imho the best non-pc game series, mainly because of its plot). I also agree with the non-linearity early in the game, as opposed to say, final fantasy games, where linearity is broken only toward the end of that game (when you get the airships or whatever). The reputation and charisma scores are also what bring BGII to the forefront. Everything is taken into consideration in this game. I feel that this is the game that every RPGer should own.
