^^ Now that i think about it, on the grand scale of things computer gamey, The ES titles aren't so bad as far as lore goes. I guess what i'm saying is that the strength of the ES games is their epic, freeform, non-plot concept. The go anywhere do anything thang. The somewhat cliched plotlines of the last two ESs (haven't played daggerfall for years) didn't do it for me. (Especially Oblivion. You can't tell that kind of story in a bunch of short, simple-worded, spoken sentences. Dammit Beth! Give me back my text!) With the console oriented "who needs a story" direction that games have been taking, i can hardly imagine that the "knights of the nine" (gosh, sounds cliched already) is gonna do anything spectacular. But it'll be worth it if they improve the freestyle elements of the game.
