Nice vid, SW. But i'd be buggered if i could endure Oblivion at those framerates. I'd definitely need something akin to that godly weapon at the least.
Luvian, Khajiit are also my fave race in Oblivion. Not only are they fun to play, but (IMO) they're the only race that hasn't had their faces messed up by added realism. I prefer my chars to have "cartoony" facial features(can't think of a better word, sorry). The blank, emotionless and freakishly "real" faces of other races is enough to make me rotate the profile pic 180 degrees in the inventory screen. I can't stand looking at them..
Anyway guys, apart from a full scale massacre at the Imperial City, is there anything left for my thief to do? Anything worthwhile, that is?
I'm more than a little disappointed at the few avenues available to a true-thief character. Stealing silverware and wine from peeps houses at a few bob a pop gets boring very quickly. The real spoils seem to be had in the dungeons where it's random levelled loot in chests or levelled loot from corpses, and that kind of work makes one a fighter instead of a thief.
So c'mon guys, what grand and valuable items are left in the world (if any) that are worthy of the skills of a master thief?
*Ed: I'd be particularly interested in any mods that enhance the 'thief' element of the game, if anyone knows of any?..

Aye, I think the low FPS was due to the recording software the guy used, running in the background. OBV is a massive strain on the processor as much as it is the video card.
I totally agree with you on the realism. You will notice I mentioned it here and there on this forum. I much prefer the sketchy, arty look to the horrid pre-real blots of CGI pixel we are seeing lately.
I and Luvian IIRC had the same issue as you with a real thiefing class, I also tried it, and wanted to make a Garrett-type "now you see me now you don't" (andwheresyourpursegonelolz) kind of char but found I had to kill at some point or I couldn't progress. This fact alone cut about 2 stars from the game's rating for me. I look at it now like an updated Morrowind with tweaks and new visuals but that still lacks the immense RP-freedom we were promised.
