I had a lot of trouble with Astral Vapours which you catch from dread zombies. It stops magicka regenerating (at least, dunno if it does anything else) which is really annoying. I had a terrible time in one dungeon because I ran out of cure disease potions and had to keep reloading when I caught the disease.
