cast on strike - When the weapon strikes the opponent the spell will be casted
cast on touch - You need to be a touching distance from your opponent. Need to use hand to cast the spell.
cast on target - You need to be far away from your opponent. Need to use hand also.
Invisible works only when you stand still or walk or do nothing, but if you talk, open a chest, attack something or being attacked, the spell will be broken. Try play in a 3rd person view. go attack something. when you strike the first blow immediately stop and stand still and see if you are invisible.
