What annoys me about buying a new computer is the fact that I'm only buying it to play games on... The computer I have at the moment can comfortably handle everything else I want to do, and I don't really play online... So half the money I spend on a new system is essentially for something I don't need whereas when I pay for a console, that's what I get!
But, at the end of the day, Oblivion will be worth all of this and far more
