As armageddon said, go to creeper. A good thing to start selling is skooma, 500 gold a bottle and you get them easily. If you have Tribunal installed, sell him the Dark Brotherhood armor. As you progress you get more costly items and it all works out.
IMO, don't waste time on the mudcrab. Takes to long and it isn't worth the hassle (being attacked when sleeping, cliffraces, swimming)
