Telekinesis can also be used for removing traps:
1. If the lock (door, etc.) is locked then unlock it first.
2. Go away and manipulate the trapped lock by telekinesis. You will trigger the trap but because you are out of its reach, you won't be harmed.
3. The trap is now removed. It is safe to manipulate the previously trapped object.
