Yes, the door unlocks.
Only one note here: The spell does not remove traps from the lock. If the door is both locked and trapped, then the spell unlocks so that you can open the door but an attempt to do that will trigger the trap.
In the other words, an experienced adventurer knows that he will need a good unlock spell plus a telekinesis spell
