or better yet, CHEAT (just a little) go to the creeper in caldera. go and sell him everything you want to get rid of. WRITE DOWN THE PRICE!!! then sell it to him for 0 dollars.

now, press the ~ key, (located above the tab key) and type into the console:

player-> additem "gold_100" X

where X is the number that you wrote down. no hassle of taking three hours to make a million dollars. press the ~ key again to exit the console.
