Its all about personal prefs, I suppose, but if you aren't doing it as a constant effect, an exquisite belt will hold a TON of healing. Mine only does 30 points, but thats because I didn't want it to run out of charge too quickly. Would have held a great deal more.
Its simply easier for me to use the 'belt' slot for items I trade off fairly regularly, and save the amulet slot for longer term items...
