Providing you can levitate, navigation in Wolverine Hall is most easy. Walk out the mages guild door, go immediately up the spiral staircase right next to it. This'll bring you to a door leading to a battlement on the outside. Just turn right and levitate down to SM. Easy. You don't spend longer than 10s inside the building.
