Part of why Morrowind is a great game is because you can develop your character any way you want.
See, in many games, you HAVE to kill things to get experience. In morrowind, a thief character can level by sneaking past things, a fighter can level up by bashing things, and a charasmatic healer can level up by healing, smooth-talking and basically doing whatever it is a smooth-talking healer likes doing.
It's quite amazing how many people run around in morrowing needing to be healed.
Oh, try joining the temple. They have a number of interesting "peaceful" quests which involve healing, travelling and general helping. In fact, join any guild that sounds good to your character. You don't HAVE to do quests you're given, and you'll find that even the guilds your character agrees with has a few dodgy quest givers. (Much like real life.) There's ALWAYS more than one road to the prize in Morrowind. And there's usually ten.
Let us know how your healer pans out. I like blasting things, so I've never played a healer and i'd like to know how it goes.
