You don't really need anything else but good sneakskills. Work on sneaking and lockpicking from the start. Once you can open all locks, the money will come flowing in.
Also, go travel around in the wilderness, search for Daedric ruins. Especially at level 2 they can be quite challenging, so bring healthpotions. There's usually a very good loot inside the shrines.
