Turning undead works just like the
"invisibility"-spell.
Once turned on, you can only walk around ...
attacking or opening doors and such will disable the turning.
Every round, when turning undead, it rolls your value against the type of undead creature ...
Three effects are possible with anomen:
- absolutely nothing
- undead panics and flees
- undead explodes in to several pieces
( the last of which requires a rather high level character, for vampires)

(p.s. a kinda cheesy tactic, is to Make anomen invisible, let him turn undead and walk around the vampires unnoticed. They'll all die, if he's high enough level, but will never notice him ...
another nice combo is -blade barrier / sanctuary )
