What Yetis? Do you mean the Ore Golems? If so, use magical weapons on them (preferably the Arcane kind). They have a high magical aptitude, so tech will not work well. They break weapons very quickly, which is why I suggested using Arcane weapons against them (although you can use Dog if you want).
Scrolls: Check Tarant, the magical shop.
Magical skill: There should be a small blue arcane symbol on the bottom-left of the screen. When you click it, the bottom of the interface will change into a grid of sorts with squares on top. Each square represents a magical school. Select the square that you have obtained and click on one of the magical spells that appear (also squares). The cursor should change into a bluish wand-click on a target to cast the spell.
