1)you will get higher ranks in the temples
2)you will get something to do. Failing a hit sometimes might make the fight against werewolves more exciting. Not to mention that failing MOST of the hits makes them outright scary.
Also, there are quite good stahlrim weapons to be found, long swords as well. So, unless you have eltonbrand, you will get some good weapons
