Well Firestormalpha you *ARE* rude. I am asking for some clarification here, not every "nook and cranny" detail as you put it. This is an RPG totally different from anything I have ever experienced before in both game play and design. I am still trying to get the "feel" of the game and believe it or not I have discovered a number of things on my own as "the forks in the road" come my way. As I have said before in other posts, my game did not come with a Game Manual. That is my reason for my inquiries about attributes, accessing spells, repairing items, gaining levels, raising stats, etc. (I am very cognizant the Manual in no way gives every detail, but it obviously gives the basics which I don't have access to). I want to know how to do these basic things so I can get on with playing the game. And, yes, I have searched the internet for certain things like Character Creation, but I have to watch out because there are spoilers throughout and I don't want to ruin the game for myself.
I have a alot of gaming experience with Baldur's Gate. I visit the BG1 forums to lend my experience whenever I can. I understand "newbies" to a game. I don't get frustrated even if the question has been asked a thousand times.
You *DIDN'T* have to respond, but for some reason you just had to. If you are pestered that is your problem. And to say "I don't mean to sound rude", are you kidding?! Reread what you wrote. And this line of yours about "don't run to the forums every time there is a fork in the road." Are you now a moderator? Believe it or not, I will be returning here as I get stuck. Is that okay with you? I have seen you ask various questions in various boards here. So, what is the difference?
In all my years on the net in many different forums I have *NEVER* had this type of interaction with another person. But this time I just had to even if means my first ever warning or even expulsion.
By the way, thanks johnny, that is all I was looking for.
