Really? I tried that once and they said the writ wasn't the right one. Although it was one for a person I hadn't killed yet, would that be why? I do have a couple of 'used' writs on me, I might try that if there's a next time.

I mean, yes I have stolen stuff, and I'm not complaining that that stuff is taken by the guards, but my boots aren't stolen, so why are they taken? I mean very few things were taken, just a few scrolls and potions and all my rubies and emeralds (they seem to take gems regardless of whether they're stolen too - most of mine came from dwemer ruins - and yet they didn't take the dwemer coins I had). If anything I would have thought they'd take the Chrysamere that I'm not planning to return
. And I wasn't picked up for stealing, it was for killing some guards in Bolvyn Venim's house.
