Damn this is weird, or I'm to stoned to see ?

In the city of Elves (Sulssenassar or something) you have to find three items to enter the temple where Irenicus should be waiting...
So I got two, and I assume the Black Dragon has the third item. So I killed him (nice battle

) and he dropped some good items like an Elven +5 suit and some more....But NO 3rd special item and I can't enter the Temple....
Is it really the Black Dragon who has this item? and does he drop it or is it some place else....??

Thanks very much for helping out.....Because I came so far (and it's THE greatest RPG I ever played, but still waiting for Daggerfall III:Morrowind to arrive....
