IMO the propylon system fills in a gap in travel routes:
e.g Urshilaku camp - 1 min from Falasmaryon/Valenvaryon
Zainab camp: falenserano (or is it telasero? not marked on map)or Indoranyon
Gnaar Mok: Andsareth / Hlormaren
Lake Amaya: Marandus
Dagon Fel: rotheran
and so on.
Just place a mark in front of the creeper (useful for other reasons) and you are a second away from folms miriel in the caldera mages guild who provides the propylon service
