I never used security either. Maybe I`m lucky buy I found a 'ring of opening' real early in the game that opened to lvl 20, and I always find loads and loads of Oduis's Open Door (sp?) scrolls. I made myself a ring of opening that opens to 100 for about $20000 and now I have no problems with locks. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Speechcraft advances really quickly for me. You can find a few Personality boosting items in the main quest and that adds to your success rate when bribing and whatnot. Speechcraft also saves you money as you can admire instead of bribe. Speechcraft also lets you taunt more effectively, which is useful.
