Did just that. Uninstalled, recovered hidden save game file, etc...
Manually installed all components, re-started puter.
Bam, FPS is doable, all of my critter's abilities seem to have returned to normal, etc..
Have meet some really cool monsters. Giants, herc skeleton, golems, invisibile stalkers etc..
:`( I have yet to find a dragon though. The file is there, it's checked, it loads during game load, I just can't find a dragon.
Final warning, if you can not handle 2 Ascended sleepers, 3 bonelords, and a few ash zombies, slaves, and dreamers at the same time, stay away. I feel I have come a long way in this game, and have super human strength, over 400 hit points, and wield a very fast and deadly health absorbing daedric short sword. I have yet to reload, but I have had under 30 HPs left after fighting a single "NEW" monster with this plug-in.
I will say, it is G-R-E-A-T. Especially one guy I can't hold back from. He is so huge, that I was literally hitting him in the ankles.
Take the time to unzipp all files into a temp folder, then transfer one at a time MANUALLY into the morrowind datafile. I think the auto-install function skips a very important file somewhere.
